I see 30 CVs per week for my current round of recruitment. Any CVs with spelling mistakes, typos or poorly worded English get rejected without further review. If someone can’t be bothered to get someone to proof read their CV, then they don’t have the necessary communication or attention to detail skills to work for me.

Now back on topic, I know one thing that has helped me IMMENSELY is a unique layout. Mind you I am aiming more for an administrative or creative type of job, so for me, it’s beneficial to use my formidable (Ahem.. I’m not meaning to be cocky.. well.. maybe a little *LOL*) MS Word skills to create an aesthetically pleasing layout thusly showing my creativity and computer skills all in one shot.
