I think we all like to think that we’d never forget, and thank god most of us remember. Like you, before I had my baby I had different ideas of what i’d be like as a mom. It changes (your perception on motherhood), not for the worse though 🙂 I think you have every right to be optimistic. Afterall who voluntarily enters into motherhood with the thoughts of being a horrible mother, there would be a much smaller population on this planet if that was the case lol I wish you all the best with you lil babe Thanks for the comment!

i remember during the first few weeks of M’s life, i forgot to put the break on her stroller and the stroller starting to roll away from me towards the road – luckily i caught it in time, but just the memory of that makes my heart race and my palms sweat
